Warranty and Returns Policy
1. Warranty Coverage
All JEKPO equipment is covered by a two-year statutory warranty in accordance with the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania.
In addition, JEKPO provides a commercial warranty valid for 12 months or 1,500 operating hours (whichever occurs first).
The commercial warranty covers all major systems of the machine but does not apply to naturally wearing parts such as tracks, rollers, sprockets, hydraulic hoses, and filters.
2. Conditions Required for Warranty Validity
The commercial warranty remains valid only if the equipment is serviced on time at an authorized JEKPO service center.
Mandatory service intervals:
First service after 40 operating hours
Engine oil and filters replaced every 100 operating hours
Hydraulic oil and filter replaced every 300 operating hours
Only original or JEKPO-approved oils and filters must be used.
Failure to follow the service schedule, increasing hydraulic pressure, ECU chip tuning, or any unauthorized modifications will void the commercial warranty.
3. Warranty Service Procedure
The customer must report any defect within 48 hours of detection by email at info@jekpo.com.
The buyer is responsible for delivering the equipment to the JEKPO service center at their own expense.
Diagnostics are carried out within 5 business days
If the defect is not covered by warranty, a fee of €80 + VAT applies
Warranty repairs are typically completed within 15 business days, provided spare parts are in stock
Repair timelines may be extended due to supply chain disruptions or force majeure circumstances.
4. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days.
Returned equipment must:
Be clean
Be undamaged
Be complete with all accessories
Have no more than 2 operating hours
Return shipping costs are always borne by the buyer.
If higher usage (more than 2 operating hours) or aesthetic damage is identified, the refund will be reduced by 1% for each additional operating hour or defect.
Equipment will not be accepted if:
It was individually configured
It has been used for more than 8 operating hours
CE documentation is missing
5. Refund Timelines
Refund processing times:
SEPA bank transfers: 1–3 business days
Card payments: 3–10 business days
Leasing agreements: 5–15 business days after confirmation of contract termination by the financing institution
6. Transport Costs
In both warranty and withdrawal cases, all transportation costs to and from the JEKPO service center are covered by the customer.
7. Abuse Prevention
Operating hour meters are documented with photos both at delivery and return.
If usage exceeds 2 operating hours without prior agreement, the return may be rejected or the refund reduced.
Repaired equipment not collected within 5 calendar days will incur a storage fee of €20 per additional day.
Repeated delivery attempts after refusal by the customer are charged at €1.50 per kilometer (minimum €150).
Unjustified chargebacks result in the buyer being liable for 100% of the transaction amount plus 20% administrative costs.
8. Transfer of Ownership and Risk
Upon signing the CMR or delivery note, ownership and all risks of loss or damage transfer to the buyer.
9. Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes, JEKPO encourages customers to contact us directly first.
If no agreement is reached, consumers may apply to the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority or use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.
